How To See Duets on TikTok
Introduction
The popularity of TikTok has grown exponentially over the past couple of years with millions of people taking to their phones to create short, fun videos. The app is also constantly being updated and new features are frequently added. One of the latest additions to TikTok is ‘Duets’ which allows you to record a video on top of another user’s video and share it with your followers! This is a great way to interact with other creators on the platform and engage in some friendly competition.
How To See Duets on TikTok – Quick Overview
You can share any video you see on TikTok (as long as you aren’t shadowbanned) by tapping the video and bringing up the options list at the bottom of your screen. Scroll through all the sharing options (including text, DM, Twitter, Facebook etc.) and when you get to ‘TikTok’ click on it. This will take you straight to a search bar where you need to type in ‘duets’ before searching away!
The same goes for stories: once again, tap on a story; this time scroll down to where it says ‘share’ and then click on TikTok!
If you just want to know how to see duets on TikTok just to to view them, just search #duet in the search bar!
1. Open up the video that has had a duet made from it.
Once you know how to see duets on TikTok, you can start making your own. You’ll need to do the following:
- Open up the video that has had a duet made from it.
- If it’s on TikTok, you can simply click on the “Duets” icon in the top left corner of your screen. This will bring up an interface where you can click through different options for viewing duets, including those with popular singers or people who have recently posted content that was made into a duet (see below).
- If it’s not already open and playing when you go into this menu option, then they won’t appear as options here. The only way around this is by going directly to their profile and looking at their stories/videos there – this is also how I found out about most of these!
2. Tap the video to bring up the options list and click ‘Share’ at the bottom of your screen.

You can also make double videos with friends, celebrities or TikTok stars. To do this, simply tap the person that you want to duet with and then do what they do in their video (if they dance on a chair, dance on a chair!). If you want to make a duet with an influencer, just tap their name and follow them from there – just like when making any other type of video (e.g., music videos).
It’s so easy To See Duets on TikTok
It’s so easy! If you have a TikTok account and are friends with someone who also has a TikTok account, simply tap their name in the search bar to start a duet. If you don’t know anyone who uses TikTok, don’t worry—you can always create your own duet. Just make sure everyone whose voice you want to use is available at the time of creation.
Once it’s created, the duet will automatically be saved on both of your accounts. From there, you can share your creation using other social media platforms like Facebook or Instagram if you want to reach beyond just those within the TikTok community.
Conclusion
Once you’ve recorded and posted your duet, all of your followers will be able to see it in their newsfeed (as well as anyone who follows them). And that’s it!
